PMA Magazine is looking for two youth writers to contribute to upcoming issues of our print magazine!

We are offering two paid commissions to writers between the ages of 11-17 that are excited about our mission of telling positive, inspiring stories, and want to learn about what it’s like to write and be published in a real magazine. These exceptional youth writers will receive $100 for their effort and all the prestige and accolades associated with being a PMA staff writer. Fringe benefits include being able to list us as a reference on future resumes and getting to explain to your friends what a magazine is!

The submission process is easy. Just send us a letter explaining to us who you are, why you would like this opportunity, and any ideas you have for stories that you’d like to pitch us on. We would also like one 500-800 word writing sample, that can be something you wrote just for us, or something from the past that you are especially proud of.

Every submission will receive a personal reply. The deadline for submissions is April 30th.
